Chief Investment Officer

Harry Bazzaz

Harry started his career at J.P. Morgan in London, which is the kind of foundation that tends to shape how someone thinks about markets for the rest of their life. He progressed to become a portfolio manager in the currency and emerging market debt teams before leaving to run a boutique investment management business in Guernsey. He joined Rocq Capital in 2017 and became a Director in 2023.

His work spans portfolio management and the securities broking business, which means he operates across the full range of what Rocq offers clients. He brings both the rigour of a large institution and the adaptability of someone who has also run a smaller operation independently.

Harry holds an MA in Economics from Jesus College, University of Cambridge. He is a CFA Charterholder, a Chartered Wealth Manager, and holds the Investment Management Certificate. He is a Chartered Member of the CISI and chairs GIFA's Managers' Committee, representing the local investment industry in Guernsey.

That last role matters. It reflects a genuine commitment to the island's financial sector, not just the firm he works for.
