BOUTI
Asset Management
Built in Guernsey. Independent and owner-managed since day one. We're a boutique investment manager with a team that has worked together for close to two decades. Long enough to know what holds up and what doesn't. Our clients range from private individuals and trustees to pension schemes, institutions and government. What they share is a preference for dealing directly with the people managing their money.

Direct
What broking services involve
We provide direct market access for traders who execute their own decisions. No intermediaries, no delays, just you and the market.
- Real-time market data and execution
- Advanced trading tools and platforms
- Professional support when you need it
The case for steady ground
We identify securities trading below their intrinsic worth, then commit to holding them while the market recognizes their true value. This approach demands discipline and conviction, but rewards those willing to wait.
The people behind it
The people who founded Rocq are still running it. Our investment team has worked together through multiple market cycles, across different economic environments and periods of real uncertainty. That shared experience shapes how we approach every portfolio and every client conversation.
Where we started and why it matters
"Rocq Capital was built on a simple principle: independence matters. We chose Guernsey not for convenience, but because it allowed us to operate without the noise and pressure that comes from being part of something larger. Here, we could think clearly. We could make decisions based on what was right for our clients, not what was right for a parent company or a distant board."
The island's regulatory framework gave us the structure we needed. The distance gave us perspective. We weren't caught in the currents of London or New York. We could see the markets as they were, not as others told us they should be. That clarity has stayed with us. It's in every portfolio we build, every decision we make.
We started small because we wanted to stay focused. Growth for its own sake was never the goal. We grew because people trusted us, and we earned that trust by doing the work properly. No shortcuts. No compromises. Just steady, deliberate progress.
Guernsey shaped who we are. The independence we found here isn't just about location. It's about how we operate. It's about having the freedom to do what we believe is right, and the responsibility that comes with that freedom. That's the foundation everything else is built on.
"Years have passed, but the principle hasn't changed. We're still independent. We're still thinking clearly. And we're still building portfolios for people who want the same thing we do: honest work, done well."
The Rocq story
Rocq Capital was founded in 2016 following a management buyout of the Channel Islands business of the Edmond de Rothschild Group.
It was a deliberate move. To build something independent, owner-managed and rooted in Guernsey. With a team that had already worked together for years and knew exactly how they wanted to run things.
Nearly a decade on, that hasn't changed. We're still independent. Still based here. Still making every investment decision in-house. No off-island sign-offs.
What has grown is the scope of what we do. Today, we work with private clients, trustees, pension schemes, institutions and government across a broad range of strategies and services.
Many of the relationships we built early on are still with us. Which says a lot.

Our Team
Stuart Perfitt
Stuart has spent more than two decades building and leading investment businesses in Guernsey, and his fingerprints are on everything Rocq Capital has become.
He joined what was then the Guernsey office of Edmond de Rothschild in 2001, was appointed to the Board in 2006, and became Chief Executive in 2013. When the opportunity came to lead a management buyout of the Channel Island businesses in 2016, Stuart was the person who made it happen. He became Managing Director of Rocq Capital from day one, a role he held for nine years before stepping up to Executive Chairman in 2022.
Before Guernsey, Stuart spent 18 years in London, first at N.M. Rothschild & Sons and later at The Equitable Life Assurance Society. That foundation in the City, combined with nearly a quarter of a century in the island's financial community, gives him a perspective on investment management that is both broad and deeply local.
As Executive Chairman, Stuart remains closely involved in the strategic direction of the business and the relationships that matter most to it.
